How to Participate In Federal Government Seized Property Auctions

Auction participants are required to register prior to each auction. Bring a photo ID. Registration is FREE. It is recommended that you attend auction previews. The preview is the only opportunity you have to inspect the seized merchandise sold at auction. Items are sold "as-is" and all sales are final. Seized property is often not available for inspection the day of the auction.   Payment for merchandise at US Federal Government Seized Property Auctions is cash, cashier's check, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).

Advertisements for US Federal government auctions will display the U.S. Customs Service seal and the EG&G Services name. The US Federal government and EG&G Services is not affiliated with any auction not bearing the logo.

US Federal government offers a subscription program for those people interested in receiving auction notices. The sales flyers include information on auction locations, dates, viewing and registration times, and a list of the seized property for sale. The US Government Sales subscription covers one year and the fee is nonrefundable.
